Some exciting news first, from BBC Nottingham. BBC Nottingham are
offering photographers the chance to display their work. To contribute
they're asking for a themed gallery of photographs (with the theme
relating to Nottinghamshire). You'll also need to send them 200-300
words about yourself, your passion and why you've chosen the specific
theme.

Here's an example of work already submitted:

The BBC are also on the look-out for volunteer photographers to
specifically cover local events, again within the Nottinghamshire
boundaries. They stress that they cannot offer any money for photos
received but the photographer will get a credit on the BBC site.

Here's an example of events that have been previously covered:

Lastly, if any photographers are interested in taking out the BBC's 360
panoramic camera then bbc.co.uk/nottingham would love to hear from you.

If anyone is interested, please get in touch, and we'll pass on the BBC's details
