The new committee for the academic year 06/07 has been elected.
Check out the New Theatre's excellent adaptation of Patrick Marber's Closer,
and the many different posters located around campus. Running from the 15th-18th
March.
It's that time again when we have to find new committee
members for next year's society. If anyone has
any
interest
in becoming part of next years PhotoSoc committee then please get in touch,
even if you just want to know what the jobs entail.
Some exciting news first, from BBC Nottingham. BBC Nottingham
are
offering photographers the chance to display their work. To contribute
they're asking for a themed gallery of photographs (with the theme
relating to Nottinghamshire). You'll also need to send them 200-300
words about yourself, your passion and why you've chosen the specific
theme.
Here's an example of work already submitted:

The BBC are also on the look-out for volunteer photographers
to
specifically cover local events, again within the Nottinghamshire
boundaries. They stress that they cannot offer any money for photos
received but the photographer will get a credit on the BBC site.
Here's
an example of events that have been previously covered:

Lastly, if any photographers are interested in taking out the
BBC's 360
panoramic camera then bbc.co.uk/nottingham would love to hear from
you.

If anyone is interested, please get in touch, and we'll pass
on the BBC's details
