New Committee Elected

April, 2006

Welcome to the University's photography society! Our aim is to actively encourage students interested in pursuing photography, providing members with photographic equipment - cameras, accessories and books.
Our activities are predominantly workshop based - we hold regular slr (and digital) camera workshops and are able to loan out slr cameras to our members.

We also offer darkroom workshops which are useful / intended for both complete novices and those who are just a little rusty and needing to refamiliarise themselves with the darkroom. We maintain a darkroom on campus which is stocked with chemicals that our members have unlimited access to - excellent for practicing your new found skills following a workshop! Additionally we hold regular competitions and socials and organise outings and trips to exhibitions and areas of photographic interest.
Any requests/ suggestions for places to visit are welcome,
