Rev. Deborah C. Lindsay Preaching on Islamophobia
This is part of a sermon that both Muslims and Christians need to listen to. A very powerful and emotional message from Rev. Deborah C. Lindsay, First Community Church, Columbus.
“It is for us to share our message of love, and hope, and peace, but let us do it with grace, and respect, and above all, humility” Deborah C. Lindsay
Hijrah to Abyssinia (Ethiopia)
The Muslims at the first four years of the messsage of Islam were mostly humble folk unable to defend themselves against oppression. So cruel was the persecution they endured that the Prophet advised all who could possibly can to immigrate to a Christian country,
Abyssinia.
One clip is from the Movie "The Message" shows
Negus, the king of Abyssinia, who welcomed the emigrants. All of them began to live there safe and sound. when Quraish knew about it they sent Amr bin Aas and Abdullah bin Rabiyah to Negus to inform him that these refugees were trouble-makers and as such they should not be allowed to stay there.
