Society Aims

Aim

To unite all members of the Students’ Union interested in humanism and to improve awareness of non-religious perspectives.

Objectives

  1. To improve understanding of ethics, spirituality and human purpose from secular perspectives, with the use of speakers, films and debates.
  2. To liaise with other societies with the view to improve understanding by co-hosting events.
  3. To promote secular ethics through fundraising for charity.
  4. To promote Church-State separation, and campaign against harmful forms of religious fundamentalism everywhere.
